The Biometrics study is based upon intrinsic physical or behavioral traits and examines the methods for uniquely recognizing humans. Some analysis have brought in the term behaviometrics for behavioral biometrics such as mouse gestures or typing rhythm where the scrutinizes can be done continuously without interfering or interrupting any user activity. The first usage of Biometric technology was at the Summer Olympic Games in Athens in 2004.
